Determine viscosities using ASTM testing methods
  • Each viscometer is calibrated in accordance with ASTM D446 Comes with a calibration certificate that includes the viscometer constant and formulas for calculating viscosities
  • Reverse flow type
Use for dark Newtonian liquids; especially suited for liquids so dark in color that the meniscus cannot be seen in a Cannon-Fenske routine viscometer. Use to study the effects of various additives on lubricating and hydraulic oils. Also use to study shearing stress and shearing rate. Require a 12-mL sample volume.
